Cryptic Moses is back from an extended exploration of distant planets with the final of seven releases in his new Undiscovered Topographies series based upon all of the data he has accumulated of these magnificent alien locales! He has spent several years analyzing the local lifeforms and geographies of these remote backwater planets, making many observations and taking many field recordings to which have since been converted to aural records. His research is yielding excellent results in the field of xeno-sonic study, and we are very proud to display his collected data here for all to observe.

The Floating Gardens of Noth... situated on the remote planet of Alternia, floating perilously above the planets surface suspended by forces no longer remembered, where the last eleovii tree lived and perished many millennia ago. A once grand species, towering more than 1000 feet tall with the average breadth of a large skyscraper, living for many thousands of years to attain such magnificence. Harvested for it's sap in a matter of years, and used for fuel due to it's extremely potent and combustable nature. The eleovii no longer towered over the surface of Alternia in their eternal protective embrace, all that remained were giant stumps and faded memories.

Cryptic Moses had only heard of the floating gardens through whispers and lore, so as his final destination he charted a course for Alternia, fully determined to see the exotic flora and fauna of the fabled locale. The wonders were immense, the structures monolithic, the waters crystalline. He found a good landing spot in a large meadow full of the most unusual plantlife he had ever seen. He set about his usual xeno-sonic studies, blending in with the environment to extract it's most pure essence.

He stayed for weeks, months even, unaware that he was being lulled to stay there by the spores of a particularly lovely plant that he had taken a particular liking too. It was nearly too late when they found him, the spores having nearly taken over his entire mind. Fortunately for him, the native garden dwellers had a little remedy which they happily imparted to him, and sent him back to his ship. Firing up the thrusters, he happily set the course for Earth, looking forward to a well deserved rest.

A beautiful finale to the series, Imprint of the Eleovii is a delicate display of finely crafted cinematic ambient music, full of emotion and colour, a perfect escape into the Floating Gardens of Noth.
