This is the product of 24 hours of sitting in front of my computer, attempting to write the most immersive music possible in the shortest amount of time possible. 3D sound design is essentially what I am ultimately shooting for. I want you to feel like you are in the middle of the sound, with a tale so colorfully unfolding that it nearly seems like you could reach out and touch it! I've learned a lot over the last year, specifically regarding spatial structure and sound design, and I feel like this is a fantastic example of that culmination of knowledge!

I live streamed the first 20 hours of production, but forgot to turn my camera back on for the last 4 hours..my bad!

I am over the top proud to present to you all Aural Holography! I couldn't be more happy with the way this challenge/experiment turned out. A deeply immersive experience, begging a closer listen at every turn. An aural journey of epic proportions, full of little nuances and psychedelic ear candy. My true love of unorthodox structures is exemplified perfectly on this ep, as each track is composed in a different time signature, from 10/4 to 12/4, and others. I wrote this specifically as a guide for your next psychedelic journey, to show you intimately around the alien inner spaces you rarely visit.

Aural Holography is not necessarily easy listening, but it is very rewarding for the avid sound explorer willing to give their full attention. Headphones are definitely recommended, but not required, as I've tried to create a 3d sound space that is enjoyable in a similar manor from any stereo sound source.

All tracks are presented in 24bit/48k and in the order in which they were created, in all their holographic splendor for your listening pleasure. So sit back, breathe deep, and get ready to dive unfathomable depths as you search for the source of the sonic holograms, omnipresent throughout the journey. Aural Holography is at times cinematic, at times disturbing, at (most) times dripping with psychedelia, and more than a little strange and unorthodox all of the time! I hope you enjoy!

Thanks to Swerdmurd for getting me all inspired to do this! Gotta lead by example! And to my amazing girlfriend Kyla for putting up with endless amounts of strange noises and such coming from the study at all hours of the day and night! haha And also my dear friend Scottie, who was also supposed to be doing this challenge at the same time as me, but encountered fatal computer issues that shut his entire machine down lol It's the thought that counts.
